Paul Rawson commenced employment in the financial services industry in 1983 and is the founding director of Finance Control. Paul has an Advanced Diploma in Financial Services and is a practicing Certified Financial Planner.  Paul is an Authorised Representative of GWM Adviser Services Limited, is Quality Advice accredited by Garvan Financial Planning and is an inaugural member of the Risk Specialist Network. Paul is an endorsed adviser by both Plum Corporate Superannuation and the ACTU.
In addition to the duties of Principal adviser and director Paul also services on 2 advisory boards with Garvan Financial Planning and MLC Insurance.
Paul enjoys time with his family and is an avid traveller. He enjoys golf, is the current goalkeeper for the Shellharbour Over 35's, and plans to attend the world cup every 4 years to support the Socceroos quest for success

James is a Director of Finance Control and one of two Principal advisers. He started as a money market dealer in 1988 working for one of the major banks before commencing his financial planning career in 1993.  James is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), has Quality Advice accreditation through Garvan Financial Planning and is an endorsed Financial Planner for Plum Corporate Super and the ACTU, encompassing the local union movement.
James is married with two young children and lives in the Illawarra area. In his spare time he and his family are avid campers and he is also a keen surf lifesaver who is on the executive committee of an Illawarra based surf club.

Jarryd started with Finance Control in 2005 on a part time basis while completing his University studies. He has since graduated in Commerce from Wollongong University majoring in Accountancy & Financial Planning. He is now a full time adviser and recently completed the Certified Financial Planner education program.
He plays First Grade soccer for Port Kembla FC and enjoys having a BBQ on the weekend with family and friends. Jarryd is married to Ashleigh, and also enjoys spending time with his favourite miniature Australian bulldog, Macey.

Ben joined Finance Control in 2008 after working in the graduate program of an international financial organisation where he worked in the Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC) team. Ben graduated from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Commerce (with Distinction) majoring in Financial Planning and Economics. 

Ben is currently completing the Certified Financial Planner program and is accredited under the Garvan Quality Advice program.

Ben enjoys playing soccer and watching sports of all varieties. His other interests include surfing, travelling and spending time with friends and family.

Di commenced with Finance Control 1998 and is the longest serving client service staff member. Like most small businesses, Di has held a variety of roles within Finance Control. During her time with Finance Control, Di has completed her Certificate in Business and a Certificate III in Financial Services and is currently completing the Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning).
Outside of work Di is married and the proud mother of 2 boys. When not running around after the boys she loves spending time with family and friends
