ACTU Accreditation

Finance Control is currently the only financial planning business in the Illawarra to have received ACTU Accreditation.

The ACTU identified the need for members to seek affordable advice so as to maximise their financial resources now and into retirement.  As a result ACTU Member Connect Services, wish to provide Union members access to quality Financial Planners across the country.

After 12 months of Due Diligence, the ACTU chose Finance Control as one of their preferred advisers to look after its members.

The due diligence undertaken included the experience/education of Finance Control advisers, level and depth of the advice provided, fee disclosures, approved investment list, not accepting commissions on superannuation, support of Industry super funds and helping Union membership in general. 

ISO FP9000 Accreditation

Finance Control became the first NSW Financial Planning business and the second in Australia to become ISO FP9000 Accredited.  This accreditation is provided by SAI Global and is internationally recognised by its distinctive ‘5 ticks of quality'.

The accreditation is based on the structure, process and professionalism of a business and Finance Control are proud to carry the 5 ticks of quality.

Risk Specialist Newtork 

We have been a member of the Risk Specialist Network since its inception in 2007. Being a part of this network allows Finance Control to specialise in the area of Revenue Protection, Ownership Protection and Asset Protection for small businesses.
